| Case Study: Martin Guitar |
| The Challenge Martin Guitar, recognized as the maker of the finest guitars in the world, had plans to build a museum on the same location as their manufacturing factory to showcase their 250 years of work and evolution of their process and company during that time. They had an idea of the audio and video experience they wanted to provide to the visitor, but needed help in bringing that vision to a reality. |
The SolutionCSI designed, engineered and installed a high-end sound system consisting of Bose speakers, LCD displays and a custom Creston AV control system. Utilizing the cutting edge technology of the Creston system, CSI designed an easy-to-use interface to control the audio system and AV components. The museum staff had the capability to choose and control devices and the speaker zones wirelessly via the Creston wireless control unit. This allowed for a highly flexible system that could be easily changed and managed from a centralized, mobile unit. The background music was streamed into the sound system through an XM satellite antenna. |
